CASE STUDY

Laser Safety

Laser Pre-Operation Inspection

Before operating a CO₂ laser, learners must identify hazards that could lead to equipment damage, fire, or personal injury. This interactive 360° simulation allows them to inspect a realistic workspace, identify unsafe conditions, and practice making the same decisions required before using real equipment.

Through guided exploration, learners practice recognizing unsafe conditions, receive immediate feedback on their decisions, and complete a full pre-operation inspection. The experience develops hazard recognition skills, reinforces safe workplace behaviors, and increases learner confidence before operating real equipment.

AT A GLANCE

Audience
